Until you have something tragic directly happen to you because of the organization, you may never understand the hate.
My Gandfather died because of the ever changing blood policy!! Do you know what I was told? Well he only had what 10, maybe 15 years left??!! Do you know how painful that was to hear, and how angry that made me??
My anger also stems from the fact that my family was labeled "Apostate" who is considered worse then a murderer by JWs all because we had doubts that got leaked out to the congregation! Questions the elders never came back to answer.
My anger also is from having the Circuit Overseer visit my JW brother and Grandmother and perpetuate lies that we not only were apostate, but had started our own religion, were printing our own lierature, and had started a web site called "Jehovahs CHRISTIAN Witnesses". NEVER did the Circuit Overseer call, or come over to ask us if these rumors he had heard and was spreading was even true. But my JW family sure believed him!!
My anger also comes from the elders who promised to get back to us with answers regarding 607, yet never called or returned until FINALLY a relative 2 states away called our elder body demanding to know why they still after 6 months had not gotten back to us....the elder bodys reply?? "We have called and called..they refuse to call us back!" Yet the very next day after my relative called miraculously the PO tried to call and low and behold..he got through! Yet my relative who called our elder body believed the elders, and told us we were playing "games"! Yet we NEVER EVER had been called by the elders!!!!!!!!!! It was all LIES!!! ONCE AGAIN!
To top it all off last New Years our home was egged and our twinkling yard Frosty was ruined! Yes during the night my JW neighbor had a JW New Years party, and they decided it would be most FUN to trash our home! Well..they got caught by a another neigbor, and were forced to come forward and admit charges were pressed and they had fines and public service to pay. They sat there in the court room staring at us with smerks on their face ..Oh so COCKY! ..Even though the elders knew about this not one elder called us to apologise for what they had done, and we arre not Df'D or Da'D.
Then you have all the other things...the out and out LIES the organization is deliberately teaching, and the most heartbreaking, the horrific crime of child abuse that is being left unreported and leaving thousands of children vulnerable to pediphiles who are basically in a "safe haven" within the organization! I have personal friends who's daughter was molested by their best friend who was a elder at the time. For years he molested her! Finally when she turned 18 it came out and he served time in prison! Yes I am ANGRY!
So James..I hope you can see from my experiences that I have very good reason to be FURIOUS with the organization! You are very fortunate if you can say you have no anger towards them. Unfortunately that is NOT the case with most here! Many have stories simular and worse then ours.
